Inherent to wilderness river trips, the activity itself is carbon neutral. Through Carbonfund.org, Far and Away will include a voluntary carbon offset category on the billing, estimated by the distance traveled by air or auto from their home to Idaho along with ground transportation to and from the river. Far and Away chooses to have its river operations within a 200-mile radius of its base camp in Sun Valley, creating a footprint that is relatively small within the industry. We welcome those who wish to join this movement.
